PsyCalc calculations can be saved to a log for viewing and printing. From the log data may be saved to a text file that can be openned in your favorite spreadsheet program or word processor. To save the current set of values to the log hold the "Ctrl" key and press the "S" key (Ctrl+S) or use the menu choices Edit/Point Log/Save to Log.
The log contains all of the psychrometric property information about each point that is currently displayed and a label for that point. There are several variations to compliment different PsyCalc modes.
The first two lines in the example above shows a single point The first line has been automatically labelled "A" by PsyCalc. The user can select Automatic, Manual or None as labelling options when saving points to the log. The second entry in the log was given the label "Return Air" by the user. When the point labeling mode has been set to "Manual" the user is prompted for a label each time a point is saved. The user can select or change the point labelling mode at any time by choosing Point Log under the Edit menu option then Point Labels. The label always includes the elevation value at which the calculations were conducted.
The third entry type is from one of the outside air design data bases, specifically from the Dry Bulb and Mean Coincident Wet Bulb Temperature data base. Here the label text is longer than the space provided. To see the entire text double click on it. You will notice that all of the information required to identify the data is available. For these entries labels are automatically added.
The fourth entry in the log above is from the Mixing calculator and consists of three lines. Each line represents one of the airstreams A, B and C. Again, all of the label text may not be visible without stretching the column or clicking on the text. Labels for the Mixing calculator saved point are also constructed and entered automatically.
