Our No Non-Sense License Agreement:
Linric Company is the author and producer of PsyCalc. This agreement is between you and Linric Company. Our license agreement is simply a way to help us get paid for the work we do. We depend on sales of our products!
We do want you to use PsyCalc. So, our single user license agreement allows you to install and use PsyCalc on all of the computers you normally use including your office, home and mobile machines. Our
Site license agreement places a limit on the number of individual (not
concurrent) users who can operate PsyCalc at a single geographic site.
Our lawyers say we should also tell you that we are not selling the rights to the program, just a license to use the program. And they want us to say that if you abuse the license agreement terrible things will happen.
We on the other hand just want happy customers who feel good about paying for a product that helps them out.
Our lawyers are also concerned that we didn't use enough obscure lengthy words in this explanation so they insist that we include the following paragraphs of legal mumbo-jumbo as part of the licensing explanation. So please read on...
The Legal Mumbo-Jumbo:
This is a binding agreement between you and Linric Company the producer and author of this software. By using this software past the trial period you agree to be bound by this agreement.
License - When you purchase a single user license, Linric Company grants you a non-exclusive license to install and operate this software on computers you normally use, including office, home and mobile computers using the registration code supplied by Linric Company
(but not your buddies computer). In addition, Linric Company grants you the right to make an archive copy of this software and record your personnel registration code. Regardless of the type of license agreement, disclosure of the registration code provided by Linric Company to other parties is strictly prohibited by this agreement.
Network licenses are NOT available for PsyCalc and single user licenses are
offered for a SINGLE USER. The single user licence is NOT to be passed around
amounst many users even if only one using it at any one time. This is not the
intent of the license.
Program Ownership - This is a license agreement not a sale of the original program or copies thereof. Linric Company retains all rights to the program and any and all subsequent copies which exist regardless of their form.
Disclaimer - Linric Company disclaims all responsibility for damages resulting from the use of this software. Linric Company has used standard industry accepted equations and calculations in this product which are to some extent approximations. It is the users responsibility to check results from this software and determine if the results are adequately accurate for the users use.
