Cooling and Heating data sets from the 2009 ASHRAE Climatic Design Information are accessable via this menu option.
Country, State/Providence and City can be selected using the corresponding drop-down boxes. This screen starts with the current default location set in the "All 2009 ASHRAE Data" screen.
Choose from the DB/MCWB, WB/MCDB, DP/MCDB or h/MCDB cooling data set buttons or the DB/MCDB or DP/MCDB heating data set button .
Data for 0.4%, 1% or 2% cooling or 99.6% or 99% heating cummulative frequencies can be selected. The values for the selected condition and location is displayed in the input boxes. Output boxes display calculated properties derrived from the looked-up condition.
When performing mixing calculations where one component is from outside it is useful to use this mode to look-up the outside air design condition before switching to the "Mixing" mode.
