PsyCalc allows the user to set the units of measure system for input values and output values separately. This provides an easy way to perform unit conversion. For example if you wanted to convert English dry bulb temperature and humidity ratio values to their metric equivalents follow these steps:
· Under Edit in the menu select SI Outputs. If the inputs are set to SI select English Inputs from the Edit menu.
· Set the input value units to ºFdb and gr/lb for dry bulb temperature and humidity ratio respectively.
· Set two of the output value units to ºCdb and g/kg.
· Enter the values in the input boxes you wish to convert from English to metric (SI) units.
Converting from SI to English is just as easy just select SI Inputs and English Outputs from the Edit menu and proceed as outlined above.
Converting between units systems can be done in this way for any of the available input options.
